East Coast High School Championships

From Paul Given – Wintergreen Race Coach and SARA Board Member

434 960 9616           Paul@longarmadvisors.com

Hello parents of U18 and U16 SARA Members:

This year we are organizing a new post-season event offering for U18 and U16 SARA racers.

East Coast High School Championship is a weekend racing event held on March 8-10 at Cannon Mountain, NH. This championship race features the top high school teams in the east. This event is unique in that it is a team competition.  We race as a team – a boy’s team and a girl’s team.  We may enter up to 12 racers on each team. Our top six finishers in each run for each gender score points for the team.

Robert Sandy and I (and a third coach if participation numbers are large) are prepared to take SARA athletes (no parent participation required) to this race and would love to have the largest group possible join us. I need a minimum commitment of six girls and six boys to make this trip work, but to be competitive we should take as close to 12 in each gender as we can.

If i get 12 athletes riding the bus, the price will be $1325 per athlete. If i get 24 athletes riding the bus, the price goes down to $925 per athlete. So the more we have the better deal we get.
