Wintergreen Snow Sports Teams: Spirit Wear Update!

Hi Boosters,

We’re pleased to announce that starting this year, we have extended our spirit wear offerings to include performance sportswear!

All of these new products are made from synthetic fabrics and utilize a proprietary weave pattern to maximize the wicking of moisture and perspiration. Making the t-shirts and jackets an excellent option for both warm weather activities and for use as a base layer during ski season. For each item purchased, $5 will go to the Boosters organization and be used to help pay for social events this season.

Each team logo has a dedicated online store that will remain open through November 01 – so purchased items will arrive in time for the holidays. If there is sufficient interest, we can also re-open the stores in January.

Please Note:

If you’re interested in purchasing non-performance gear such as baseball hats, cotton t-shirts, hoodies, etc. the existing online team store will go live later this fall!

The orders for our Wintergreen team jackets for next season are due immediately (like today)

I made an error in how the messages were sent to get orders so the deadline is unfortunately today!

Please reply with a yes or no – and a size – there will be a little room for going up or down in size once they arrive. The sizing is the same as the Spyder jackets (We will be switching to a Karbon jacket this year) Great look – great quality and better timelines and service.

They look basically the same – black jacket with red trim – wintergreen race team logo on the back so will blend in with the Spyder jackets great. This is a jacket we can stick with for years to come as the colors do not expire in three years like Spyder.
Email today with your size request!

Winter Teams Race team update

SARA U16 -U21 Championships

We have just heard that the U16-U21 race at Massanutten will be a one day race. There will be no racing on Saturday. They will try to run multiple runs on Sunday as it is supposed to get cold Saturday night and that should refreeze the snow making it a firmer race surface.

The new schedule for the weekend is attached. Revised Tentative Schedule for Champs Feb. 24

Please read over it and note Massanutten is not offering an option to register for the race on Sunday Morning. The last option to register and pay for the race is 4:30 pm Saturday afternoon. So for those of you who do not want to go to Massanutten Saturday afternoon to register we will have a representative at registration to pick up your bib and register you. We will then need to get a check form you on Sunday.

Please let me know if you are interested in having your bib picked up for you on Saturday

Ski Race Team SARA Champs info
